Kol Nidrei Appeal

On Rosh Hashanah we traditionally wish each other a “Good and Sweet New Year”. Of course, we mean this wish sincerely, but unfortunately merely wishing for something does not always make it happen.

In addition to the tefillos we offer up for ourselves and our friends and family at this time of year, we have, through the power of tzedakah, the ability to change the lives of those in our Kehilla who approach the Yomim Noroyim with feelings of financial insecurity.

As the Kehilla ages, and those struggling are affected by fixed incomes, low levels of benefits, and the pressures of inflation, their needs are increasing, and the Gemach asks you to give generously to support them, and truly to increase the “goodness and sweetness” of their New Year.

You are invited to make a donation for our Kol Nidrei Appeal via our donate page or by cash/cheque/charity voucher. Please state your donation is for the Yeshurun Gemach when filling out the PayPal page.

We will make sure the start time allows sufficient time from the end of the main minyanim to enable any other halves to get back.
