Following careful reflection and thoughtful discussion, the Board has decided to delay the upcoming AGM and the launch of the application process for the incoming Board by eight days
Dear Members of Yeshurun,
Following careful reflection and thoughtful discussion, the Board has decided to delay the upcoming AGM and the launch of the application process for the incoming Board by eight days.
This decision reflects an exciting moment for our community. We are preparing to introduce a renewed Board structure designed to support engaged, meaningful, and dynamic leadership in the year ahead. This work has been developed with care over several months, and allowing a few additional days will enable us to communicate the new structure clearly, ensure it is well understood, and encourage thoughtful participation from those who may wish to apply.
The updated timeline for this process is outlined below:
| Shabbat 16 May |
The new structure will be launched and explained in Shul.
All materials will be shared with the community after Shabbat.
|
| Sunday 17 May |
Online applications for the Board will open and remain open for two weeks. |
| Sunday 31 May |
Online applications will close.
Online and in-person voting will open for two days. |
| Tuesday 2 June |
Online and in-person voting will close in the afternoon.
Votes will be counted. |
| Tuesday 2 June |
AGM will be held in the evening.
New board will be announced at the AGM. |
As we look ahead, we invite all members to reflect on how you might continue to contribute to the growth and strength of Yeshurun. Leadership and impact take many forms, and meaningful opportunities extend well beyond Board service alone.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our community and for your engagement during this exciting period of development.
Shabbat Shalom,
Michael, John, Ben and Avi
